During the eleven weeks of play, the
local team has won more than half
her games. Except the two series with
Walla Walla and the last one with
Boise, which they lost five to one, the
Buckarooes have, won every series in
which they have participated and the
I ( showing is pleasing to the fans.
I Today the second half of tho
J season will begin with Pendleton play- -
J , mg in Boise and Wall Walla, playing
I ; in North Yakima. The slates will be
wiped clean and the clubs start all
over again. East week the Bucks went !
into a batting slump and won but one
game of six. Unless they strike a bet- f
ter clip this week, they will get off;
with another bad start. Yakima has
a far better club than that with which ;
she started the season and on her '
home grounds may have a little of
the luck which enabled the Bars to
take all of the close, games last vwk.
