tor made 5 miles in 4:40 from a standing start.
The fastest mile was reeled off in 51 seconds flat This machine
was nsed by Mr. L C. Rose, president of the Excelsior Motorcycle Co., i
Inc, of Portland, Oregon, for 17,010 miles, and has never received the i
slightest bit of repairs outside of txc new piston rings two days before J
the race. J
The 5 mile professional 4 H. P. ported race was won by Mr. Sim- i
