Canoeing is fine and many, boats
put in appearance, yesterday. Witn
the coming of the new boatslip, which
will insure safety for all boats bar-
bored there, the lovers of this wat
er sport will find the best of condi

A particular feature of the new pa
vilion is the massive fireplace and

night had an opportunity to see the
beautiful effect when the fireplace
was piled high with burning logs.
Every youngster within calling dis
tance, yesterday enjoyed to the: full
est extent the generosity of a. patron
of the park. Surrounded by a company
of boys and girls of all ages, the
host . approached the park booth
and. called lor ice cream cones, me
cones brought peanuts, and the pea

hand was filled to overflowing and
the busy little mouths were stilled.
The writer can vouch with safety
that not one of. the youngsters joy

seats for the pavilion, providing much
more comfort, will be installed. They
were delayed in transit and will be
rushed into place 3'ust as rapidly as
