Notice is hereby given that sealed
bids will be received at the office of
the recorder of the city of La Grande,
Oregon, for furnishing and laying ap
proximately Eleven hundred and sixty
(110) lineal feet of eight (8) ineh
sewer along the center lino of Third
Street, from the center lino of "M
Avenue to tike center line of "L" Ave
nue, and along the center line of L"
Avenue front the cento Hn of Third
Street to the Bast property line of
Cedar Street ia the city of L aOrande,
Oregon; said sewer to be laid ia at
cordance with the plana and specifi
cation, now on file, in tab office and
under the supervision of toe City In
spector. All bids to be in before
eight (8) o'clock p. m., Wednesday
evening, May 21st, 1913, and must be
accompanied by a certified check of
five (5) per cent of the amount of
the bid. The Council reserves the
right to reject any and all bids.
