Old age ai It comes In the orderly
process of nature Is a beautiful and

That Is old age as It should be, but
eld age as it often Is means poor

Bride Ride Through Pprade Behind
Long-eared Burro.
Imbler, Oregon, Feb. , 25. Johu
Wltte, the i Imbler druggist, was
married secretly ' at La Grande on
last Friday evening with only the
clerk and Janitor as witnesses.
The bride, Miss Bessie Chllders,
of Alice), being of a tthy and retir
ing nature, hoped to keep the inci
dent quiet for some time, and the
groom had good reason to try and
escape an Initiation at the hands of
his friends. . N
Mr. Wltte has been very active In
helping to celebrate the same kind
of Joyful events heretofore, and It
can truthfully be said that he re
celved a right royal reception when
he and his clinging bride landed at
Imbler Saturday noon, .
, This whole country side turned
out to help receive and John, the
t'mid end blushing groom, was gen
tly mounted on a decorated cow r"-

and dancing. The bride and the
minister followed In a top biuret
drawn by a burro with very long
ears. (Many unique and . laughable
placards were pasted about the
town, especially on te drug store
and John "set 'em up."
