ROAD TO BUTTE IS A3XI0CSLT
AWAITED .
Utond Thought to be Financed In the

(Boise Statesman.)
Is Boise's dream of a road from
Butte to Idaho's capital about to be
realized? Rumor has it that the
lartles who secured . the optioi on
he "citizens' right-of-way' . some
weeks ago are to build a line, prob
ably from Butte through Boise to the
Western Pacific, the Central Pacific.
Iind the San Pedro roads. It Is un
derstood that the road Is to be built
y capital which Is entirely Inde
pendent of any other well known
Ine and It Is to be an entirely inde
pendent road. . - ; .
While the fact that an option hail
keen given was still a rumor Bishop
lorleux, one of the trustees of the
ight-of-way, was Interviewed on the
ubject. He refused either to affirm
pr deny the rumor, ' J
. "What makes you think there ia an
option?" he asked.
"Ob, we got a straight tip on it,"
he was told. V
"Well," he said, smiling, "you had
better get the story from the Bource
from which you received the tip."
When- Informed this was not pos
sible he suggested trying W. H. Rirt
enbaugh, one of the. other trustees.
Mr. Rldonbaugh absolutely denied
that an option had been given. He
remarked that it was about time for
another hot-air railroad story to be
printed by the newspapers and that
the rumor that an option had been
igiven by the trustees of the rlgbt-of-way
would be as good a one as any,
but that no option had been given.
While It Is known that ' no local
caultal Is interested In It H Is . also
known that some, who expect to be
heavily Interested In the new line
should It be built, are vapidly ac
quiring Interests In and about Boise,
realizing that their Investment will
become exceedingly valuable.
The' option secured Is sata to run
for two years but the parties Inter
ested expect to begin work within
90 days or bIx months at the latest,
provided the legislature does not
pass a Mil which will prohlbt any
railroad building In the state. Old
surveys are at hand made from Butte
to- Bo'se whkco were made at the
Boise. It Is not known that either
of these surveys will be used by the
time when a road between theBe two
centers seemed highly possible, and

. The use of Sage and Sulphur for re
storing faded, gray hair to Its natural

time. She kept her bair beautifully
darkened, glossy and abundant with
a brew of Sage Tea and Sulphur.
Whenever her hair fell out or took

But brewing at home is mussy and
out-of-date.. Nowadays skilled chem
