Interesting news. It Is to be a sea
of children's faees that old Santa will
greet when he reaches the hull. A
committee of Elks acting for the
lodge is announcing today the mass
meeting of Santa Clause lovers. They
authorized the following statement:
"Children all children under te,n
years of age are wanted at the Elks'
Christmas tree at 3 o'clock Christmas
day at Elk's auditorium. Every citi
zen Interested In having La Grande's
children receive their share of ChrlBt
mas cheer Ib requested to Bee that
his own children are present and to
make it his duty to see that some
family of little ones who are not so
bounteously blessed as his own, are
also present. This is not a Joyous,
occasion for Klks' families alone but
a day for all children of La Grande.
"Bring the little ones and enjoy
with them the gleeful occasion."
