the Mouse". The scenes are laid in
New York and deal with a certain
condition of social life in which so
ciety leaders, both male and female,
are the central figures. In working
out the story, the author attacks the
method used tc pick out those en

tinction accorded only by heritage
and birth. This ploy marks a step
forward in the evolution of the drama,
the tendency of which Is to deal with
conditions that exist and - which by
reason of the puDlic apathy, are al
lowed to continue. ' Play goers will

will mark an epoch In the theatrical
history of the city.
