as follows:
Section 1. That the council baa
considered the proposed assessment
of the property beuefited by the im
proving of Third street from Main
avenue to Washington avenue, G ran
dy's addition to La Grande, Oregou,
and all objections made thereto, and
hereby ascertains, determines and
declares the whole coat of said Im
provement In the manner provided
by resolution duly passed by the
council on the 18th day of September,
1912, to be the sum of $2281.54
and the property hereafter described
Is epeclally benefited by said improve
ment and the special and peculiar
uunefits accruing to each lot or par
cel thereof or parcel of land wuhin
the assessment district and which is
so specially benefited by reason of
said lmprovementand which has been
equitably apportioned among all lots,
