sections thought It impossible to- ex
hibit apples, yet OAs district has
show of varous apptes that bring

The Eastern Oregon experiment sta
tion has a fine display of grains and
grasses, Robert Wltliycnme, superln
tendent of the station, personally ar
ranged the exhibit and It serves In a
way as a general Union Bhowing.
Mrs. J. D. Slater has a beautiful
table of flowers, mostly asters, and
is almost alone as that kind of exhlb
ltor. The La Grande Floral company
has a very tastily arranged display,

that is greatly appreciated by many

The displays cover abeut all that
can be produced and are of excellent
