Score Card System Used.
A score of questions will be consid
ered in the determination of the
child's development Babes from two
to four years will be eligible and the
size of the head, the abdomen. . the
chest, the height, the weight, the dis
position ot the - child,' Its sleeping
quarters, Its food , these and many
others are part of the quizzes that go
with the score card requirements. It
Is Indeed a new venture and should
prove decidedly interesting, and,. lb e
parent will obtain at the hand ot pro
fessional judges an accurate notion of
their children's physical development
that would stand them In hand. It
will be a very instructive phase aside
from its Competitive features. A suit
able prise will be gi.eii to the winner,
the winner "of course being decided up
on its merits.

There will be two other departments
and in these the usuaTinterst will ot
course be displayed. - Mrs. Richardson
has announced a department ot luck
In which a valuable and handsome
prize win be offered for the : baby
drawing the lucky number gets the
prize. These babes must be two years

The third department is a' sweep
stakes event In this babes entered for
any ot the two departments above will
be in line for the- prize. His the
prettiest baby, judged by doctors, that
will get this plum. All in all the line
up for a very successful and unique
baby show Is In sight.

ating Improvement district No. 65 and
designating O avenue as such district,
and in pursuance of a resolution
adopted by said common council onj

said council determined and declared
Its intention to improve all that por
tion of O avenue in said improvement
dstrict as hereinafter descrbed by lay

the council will, ten days after the
service ot this notice upon the ownerB
of the property affected and benefited
by such improvement, order that sold

be so improved are as follows:

purpose of paying for such Improve

That the council will, on the 4th day
of September, 1913, meet at the coun
cil chamber at the 'hour ot 8 o'clock,
