Powell, another victim of the great
flood of a few days ago wag found last
night with the arms thrown over a. log.
The body was held In the Jake of

Mrs. Atkins to Speak Tonight.
Mrs. Florence Atkins arrived In La
Grande this morning from Baker City.
She will speak this evening at the
Baptist church on woman suffrage.
.rs. Atkins has a national reputation
as an able speaker and comes highly
recommended from all places where
she has spoken. She has a rapid, log
ical and fiery style with which she
mixes pleasing and original humor.
