of La (jrande. Oregon, of the assess
ment of improvement district No. 40,
of the city of La Grande, Oregon.
Notice is hereby given that the as
sessaient roll for the improvement of
3iriii5 avenue, being Improvement
district No. 40, of the city of La
Gramlf, Oregon, under the provisions
of ordinance No. 610, series 1912. en
titled. "An ordinance declaring the
co.-it of Improving Spring street from
the west line of Fourth street to the
eaat line of Alder street by the con
struction of a board walk; determin
ing the property benefited thereby,
levying an assessment thereon to de
fray the costs and expenses of the
Improvement: providing for the aa
sessmerst roll of the saie and direct
ing the entry of aald assessment In
the docket of city Hens, provid
ing a time when the same ahall be
come delinquent and requiring the
city recorder to prepare a special as
seasment roll in accordance with the
ass9sment herein levied and to col
lect said assessment," the same being
in improvement district No. 40, in
said ctiy of La Grande, Oregon, Is now
in my bands for collection and that
any Installment therein may be paid
to me at any time within ten (10)
days from the 15th day of July. 1912.

the 15th day of July. 1912, which is
