Oregon, on the 24th day 'of April, 1912
creating Improvement district No. 27,
and designating North Second street
as such district, and in pursuance of
a resolution adopted by said common
council on the 24th day of April, 1912,
whereby said council determined and
declared Its intention to Improve all
that portion of North Second street. In
said Improvement district as herein

x The .. Chautauqua, managers have
made definite plans for excellent pas
senger service for the Chautauqua
patrons.,. Every morning from eight,
o'clock a hack service start . and
then at 2:30 a 20-passenger motor
car runs In connection with the hacks
starting in front of the People's store.
The service will be every 15 minutes,
then from 7 to 8:30 p. m. every 15
minutes. At the close of the after
noon and evening programs the car
will run until all are brought back.
The fare will be 10c each way, and if
the crowds' Induced the auto service
will be enlarged.
