Going as a body, the Loyal Order of
Moose will go to Elgin on the -day
of July Fourth to. attend the celbra-
tlon there. The Moose baseball team
will make the Journey with thejwdyl
proper and remain until the next day
when the early spring game between
La' Grande and Elgin Moose will be
returned. Elgin Is planning a four-
day celebration and has invited the
Moose to participate to their hearts'
content This action was taken by
the lodge last night.
The plans are for the special, train
that will carry them to return to La
Grande in time for the evening per-
nee at thehutauaua grounds.

Then the boglera blew a blast at the

knew that animals of that species
were so much affected by strange and
high pitched musical sounds that they
seemed compelled to ' Imitate them.
This bull proved to be no exception to
the rule. . ' '
