New Jersey State Golf association.
The first match play round was start
ed this afternoon, with the semi-finals
to come tomorrow and the finals on
Saturday.

Washington, D. C, June 6. With a
large number of players present the
qualifying round in the annual spring '
championship tournament of the Mid- j
die Atlantic States Golf association '
was played today on the Chevy Chase '
course. The tournament will con
tinue until Saturday afternoon, when
the championship tropby will be pre
sented. Now the price of frog legs has
