Girl Kuril and Raised iu La Grande
Passes Away in South.
Word received this morning from
Los Angeles contains the sad intelli
gence of the death of Miss Buelah
Brown, aged 19 years, last Thursday.
Interment occured last Saturday. The
deceased was a popular girl of La
Grande during her childhood and she
spent several weeks here last year
with her aunt, Mrs. Fred G. Schllke
and other relatives. She returned to
her mother's home In Los Angeles In
company with Mrs. Schllke and has
lived there since. She grew up in this
city and besides her relatives, had a
large host of friends In La Grande
who regret exceedingly the untimely
death of the young lady.
Major league clubs all along the line
are reducing the number of 25 cent,
bleacher seats. It is only a question,
of time when the two-bit boys will
be a thing of the dim past. :
