der of the city of La Grande, a writ
ten application to pay in installments
said assessments so assessed against

owner did thereby valve all irregu

property owner agreed to pay said

stallments, with interest thereon , at
the rate on all of said insallmehts
which have not been paid as that ex

plicant assessed for such Improve

WHEREAS, Said applications are

La Grande and in abook kept for
that purpose under separate heads for
each improvement, the said recorder
has entered the date of the filing of
eacn application, tne name of the ap
plicant, a description of the prop
erty and the amount .'of the assess
ment shown in the application; and
WHEREAS, immediately after- the
expiration of the time for filing appli
cations -for the payment of said as
sessment by Installments, the said re
corder entered in the bond lien docket
of the city under separate heads for
each street, each nnme and number,
a description of each lot or parcel of
land or other property against, which
such' assessment Is made or which
bears or is chargeable for the cost of
isueh Improvement with the name of-,
the owner' and the amount of such
unpaid assessment; and .
WHEREAS, the amount of such un
paid assessments aggregate the sum
of $7,328.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF
LA GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOL
LOWS :
Section 1. That the city of La
Grande issue its bonds ln all equal
to the- total amount of $7,328.00, being
the total - amount of the unpaid as
sessments for sewer improvement In
section 1 of sewer district No. 1 of
the city of La Grande, for which ap
plications to ppy the same' have been
filed as shown by the bond Hen dock
et of said city, which said bonds shall
be numbered from 3fil to 375, both
Inclusive, consecutively,, and shnll he
in denominations of $500.00 each, ex
cept bomr,No. 375. which shall be for
: Said bonds shall bear date May 1st,'
the sum of $328.00. . ;
1912, and shall by the terms thereof,
mature- in -ten years- from said date
thereof, and bo-payable In gold coin
