teen Indies of snow seems like the
beginning of winter Instead of the

La grippe Is visiting many homes
here. With' sore . throat added, It
makes great discomfort.
Dr.' N. Molltor was called to the
home of Howard Peck, where the en
tire family were ill. Mr. Peck Is suf
fering from a relapHe and Is not yet
able to be out of bed,
Mrs. John Aldn and two daughters
have also been confined to their home
with very sore throats. Mrs. Allien is
still suffering from a gathering lit one
ear.
The men drilling the well on Mr.
Alden's ranch have reached a depth
190 feet, with a fair amount of wa
ter. John Robertson is home again hav
ing served on a Jury during the past
term of court.
Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Burnett returned
Sunday from a Bhort visit In the
Grnnde Ttonrte valley,
Mrs. Newklrk, of Spokane, is visit
ing hor daughter, iMrs. Howard Peck.
The Valentino party on the IGth was
a success, The school 'Ihouse .was
prettily decorated with hearts. Ben
Hngey Is always stage manager for
the Needlecraft club. With singing,
readings, dialogues and a supper all
felt the evening was an enjoyable ono
