Thursday,
Brother Gillette was rearrested and
held to await the action of the grand
jury without being admitted to ball.
Sister Elizabeth, not having been In
dicted by the coroners' Jury, was per
mitted to remain under ball.
It is understood that ' no attempt
will be made ou the pnrt of Brother
Gillette to deny the simple facts of
the case. As 'there Is nothing In the
laws of the state or Florida that can
be construed Into .sanctioning the
practice of euthanasia under any con

will have no alternative In the case
but will be obliged to Indict.

THE STRAPONTIN.
Pound In Parisian Theaters, It la

In every Paris theater there are two

the orchestra or balcony rows. It has

A few minutes later be has paid his
10 cents for a program and tipped the
woman attendant who shows him to
his strapontin. It is as devoid of legs
or feet, this strapontin, as of arms
and vertebrae, a device to be ahanned
and tabooed. You squirm to make
yourself comfortable, to secure aome
attitude whereby the hardship of the
strapontin may be annihilated, but In
