1911, entitled, "An ordinance declar

corder to prepare a special assessment
roll in accordance with the assess
ment herein levied and to collect said
assessment," the same being in im
provement district No. 28, in said city
of La Grande, Oregon, la- now In

assessment therein may be paid to me
at any time in ten (10) days from the (21

of having the honor in this country
of attending 'the National Women's
council that convenes in the city of
Liucago next we-ek. This honor falls
to the lot of our esteemed citizen. Mrs.
Cora M. Davis, by virtue of ilier being
the national president of the W. R. C.
Mrs. Davis left thl8 week Thursday to

where she will com-a in contact with
the brightest minds of this country
and also of those from abroad. It is
safe to jay that Mrs. Davis will repre.
