The market situation continues prac
tically unchanged, with no Indication
of falling off in this demandfor strict
ly fancy fruit in standard varieties,
and large sizes, and with no Improve
ment In the poor demand for ordinary
stock and small sizes. The exchange
is refusing ddzens of orders t?very day
on account of not having the fruit to
offer. One of the best known fruit
men In the northwest recently wrote
the txchange , : . .
"You ihave done a lot of good for
the northwestern , fruit growers this
year. I thought your Judgment was
too" high on prices 'at the opening of
the season, but it has turned out that'
you were nearer correct than I."

change, and the- prices obtained for
