Notice of the recorder of the city of
La Grande, Oregon, of the assessment
of 13th street, la Conuordale addition
lo.the city of La Grande, Oregon.
Notice la hereby given that the as
sessment roll for the improvement of
13th street, in Connordale addition to
tie city of La Grande, Oregon, under
the provisions of Ordinance No. 561,
Series 1911, entitled, "An ordinance
declaring the cost of improving 13th
street in Connordale addition to the
city of La Grande, Oregon; determin
ing the property benefitted thereby,
levying an assessment thereon to de
tray the cosU and expenses of the Im
provement; providing for the assess
ment roll of the same and directing
li entry of said assessment in the
docket of city liens; providing a time
when the same shall become delin
quent and requiring the city recorder
to prepare a special assessment roll
In accordance with the assessment
herein levied and to collect said as-J
sessment," is now in my hands for col
lection and that any assessment there
in may be paid to me at any time In
ten (10) days from the 30th day of Oc
tober, 1911. without penalty, interest
or cost; and each property owner Is
hereby notified that on application to
the undersigned within ten (10) days
from the 30th day of October, 1911,
which is the first publication of this
notice they will be allowed to pay
such- assessments in ten (10) annual
installments, the first Installment
thereof being due and payable on or
before the 30tb day of October, 1912;
If application is not made as above
provided the whole amount will be
and become due, payable and delin
quent on the 9th day of November,
1911.
