Coffee Goes Up Two Cent Rather
Than One Cent
The expected drop in sugar came to
La Grande this morning. The fall was
a 25 cent one, and was quoted to all
dealers this morning, and was only
25 cents, where it had been hoped that
the fall would be 35 cents.
The coming raise In coffee, prices
announced In the Observer's market
column yesterday, , also came today,
but instead of 1 cent a pound the dis
trlbutors decreed a 2 cent raise, and
local dealers were notified according
ly this morning. Quotations in local
markets today follow.
