den tour, the premier event of Its kind
in the automobile world, will start
from this city tomorrow morning. Be
fore it is ended the contestants will
have made a Journey of sor.e 1X00

gine and was caught In the wreck. He
has one leg and an arm broken and re
ceived a gash in the head, and his re
covery is doubtful. There la not a

press Is controlled by the railroad
companies In Seattle the same as in
other places.
Ashland, Ore. Trains arriving late

kidnap them. They have a guard for
