With Chautauqua week approaching,
farmers and La Grande people in num
bers are looking about for camping
facilities which will allow them to
camp at the camping grounds adjoin
ing the chautauqua grounds. There
are two men at the park continually
who will make reservations for these
cainpers and as the demand is brisk,
people anticipating spending the ten
days at the tented city should see to
It at once. By going to the grounds
and making selections reservations
can be made at this time and the best
sites are rapidly being grabbed up.
Contracts have been closed for the
construction of the auditorium, and
other buildings needed for the admin
istration of a successful chautauqua.
Everything is progressing with
smoothness and precision and every
thing will be In place at the appointed
time.
