Already Improvement of Bad Roads Is
Taken Up by Club.
With the Union County Motor club
only a week old, various patches of
bad roads throughout Union county
will he 'remedied aa a result of the
club's short existence following a
meeting last evening of the directors
chosen at Hot Lake a week ago. Pieces
of bad road, which automobiles have
found, will be reported to, the county
court and the policy of the court in
sures the patches being repaired at
once when attention Ms called to It.
In accordance with this policy the di
rectors will, ask all auto owners to
carry a "bad road" card and on tours
to jot down the location of any bad
piece of road or defective bridge, and
turn these in to the secretary who will
take the matter up with the county
court . . : "
Permanent officers elected last even
ing were Dr. M. K. Hall, president of
the Motor club. Fred H.. Kiddle, vice
president,' A. V. Andrews secretary j
and C. C. Penlngton treasurer s ,
The next . regular monthly meeting
will be the first Monday In the month.
Last evening many Important matters
came up, among them, the state tax
proposition. The secretary was In
structed to work In co-operation with
other auto and motor clubs of the
state In learning what' can be done
with the tax. The autoists do not ob
ject ot paying a tax but do regret that
the taxes so paid go to the general
fund and not a cent of it to Improve
ment of the roads.

Now, about the question of arifitcial teeth, there is
more to it than you would think unless you have stud
ied the mater. The ordinary rubber plate is the
cheapest plate made, there are better plates than the
' rubber plate, though it is good. Come and seo us about
the aluminum plate, it is almost ideal. It is light,
durable and does not irritate the mouth. And just in
passing I want to remind you that at STEVENSON'S
DENTAL OFFICE extracting is 50 cents and I be
lieve we know how to extract teeth. . 5 si V
