annual convention of the- Texas Phar
maceutical association met in this city
today and was called tol order by
President J. W. Covey of Fori. orth.
The business sessions, will last time
days and will be interspersed with nu
merous features of entertainment.
On Saturday, June th 24th, the Un
ion County Pomona Grande will hold
Us regular meeting at Medical Springs
and a large number of members both
from Baker and Union counties will be
present. The Wt. Fanny Grange or
chestra and the Baker orchestra will
furnish the music and a number of
prominent speakers from the State
Grande will be. in attendance.
The Blue Mountain Grange celebrat
ed Flora Day at their hall on Satur
day, June 17th. The hall was beauti
fully decorated In flowers and the pro
gram was carried out by the children
under the supervision of the Flora of
the grange, Mrs. Mary Keltz.v AfUr
