Cantaloupes, selling two for 35 cents
made their appearance in La Grande
markets this week. Other than canta
loupes, the usual early summer line of
fruits and vegetables prevail as usual.
Cherries are selling 15 cen;s a box and
strawberries go at U3Ual prices. ,
Cantaloupes are of good grade this,
year, for early production and sales
were recorded with a vim this morning
for the Sunday dinner tables.
