veteran frontiersmen and early set
tlers In the Pacific slope country fore
gather In the town of Kettle Falls.
Wash., of Friday, June 23, to cele
brate the 100th anniversary of the dis
cove ry of the Kettle Falls on tha Co
lumbla river, 95 miles north o here,
they will pay tribute to the memory of
David Thompson, a trail-blazer for the
Hudson's Bay Company, which, estab
lished Its first trading post on what
now Is American territory. In 1812,

the famous Warriner case, in which
Charles L, Warriner, treasurer of . the
