Is Already Under a Ten Year Sentence
for That Offense.
Robert Owens was arraigned this
morning charged with stealing a mare
from Guy Patton of Elgin, It is al
leged that Owens stole two horses, a
saddle and a pair of chaps from Pat
ton. He was indicted separately for
each article and was arraigned a few
days ago on the charge of stealing a
horse to which he pleaded guilty re
ceiving i ten year sentence. It is
probable that he will be arraigned on
two more counts. ;

settler.' whose death occurred at an
early hour Wednesday was held yes
terday afternoon at two o'clock from
the undertaking parlors. The body
was interred in the Masonic cemetery.
