Yearling Cltys Average About Mno
Pounds of Wool.
Cove, Ore., May 23. (Special) The
shearing plant near this city is work
ing full blast. A large band of the
McKennou & Chandler sheep arrived
last evening and fleeces are flying to
day at a rapid rate. Yearling fleeces
are averaging about nine pounds each
and the wool is apparently of an ex
excellent quality.
Lambing season is just about over
in this section of the country.
