BOLLES FUNERAL HELD.
Former Sheriff of This County Barled
With Lodge Riles Yesterday.
The funeral of Ex-Sherlfl J. T.
Bolles took place at Union yesterday
at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Knights
of Pythias, at his request. The funer
al services were read at the grave In
a very Impressive way and were lis
tened to by a large number of people.

Davis and several past chancellors.
Six members of the La Grande lodge
were in attendance.
!Mr Bolles was sheriff of Union coun
ty In 1890 to 1894 and was a very pop ular
and efficient officer.. He was
highly respected in the community
and had as many warm friends as any
man that evt r lived in this county.
Many of Ms friends from La Grande
paid the last respect to his memory
by attending the services.
Mr. Bolles was 58 years old and is
survived by a daughter, Mrs. J. W.
