measure has not been adopted years

public work, It runs into big money

time C. H. Broughn is to leave. La
Grande and locate in Boise where he
will be circulation manager of . the
Statesman. Mr. Broughn Is one of the
clean cut,, energetic young newspaper
men of the Northwest. While he has
produced a great deal of business for
hifl paper here, he has at the same
time claimed the friendship of many
La Grande people because of his hon-
