"One of the most complete systems
Lof transporting the guests of the deal
era association from one garage to
another on the s how nights has been
adopted. A line of pver 200 automo
biles will carry .passengers from one
district to another. They will have
regular running schedules, and will
be kept on these schedules by regu
larly appoineed Inspectors, much af
ter the ' fashion of street cars. A
machine will leave the different sec
tions every two minutes, and oftener
if necessary.
With this treat of a little ride, the
beautiful exhibits which are being
arranged In the different garages, the
rememberance of other automobile
shows In the past; and also t he holi
day spirit which is bound to pervade
the public, It seems doubly sure that
the opening week will . be a success.
The public need feel, no apprehen
sion as- to the sights they are going
to see, for the cars on exhibition are
.among the finest that have ever been
shown on the coast. The automobile
world has never known such a year
for real beauty of design and ele
igance as It is going through now.
Every manufacturer seems to have
vied with the other to see who could
turn out the most excellent piece of
work,' and the creations are rfurely
wonderful. ', . ,
Cars are Wonderful
From runabouts to limousine the
cars ' this year , are ' marvels of ele
gance. The manufacturers have made
but few changes this year in engine
construction, but ' hare $ut everz
available force to work straightening
out the lines, refining the cars and
looking after the details which go to
make the automobile of today the
most elegant of vehicles.
