in Jail with numerous bruises on his
person caused by a flying tackle. Nels
Brode, a watchman at the store, dis
covered two men making away with
articles taken from the store, and

championship caliber, members of the
.Oak Park team and Coach Zuppke
will claim the national title by vict
ories over these teams.
When Oak Park won out in the
Cook county league It issued a chal
lenge to meet any and all schools for
the national title. Only Wenatchea
and Portland replied and accordingly
contests were arranged with theso
elevens.
Oak Parkers do not believe Mor
gan. Park academy, although a prep
school, can claim the title. They
claim an unwritten agreement was
made before Oak Park lost the con
test, 9 to 6, that the game would not
be listed as a scheduled or calendar
game, unless the Morgan Park team
lived up to the high, school rules, one
of which required all players to be
under 21 years of age.
