She is stopping at the Sommer. ' SHOOTIXG AT BAKER. Family Quarrel Ends In Shooting of Relative by Relative. A. W. Woodard was shot Just above the right temple last night by his ibrother-ln-law, M. H. Frawley in a family quarrel at the home of Mrs. Foley at Tenfch and Estes, says the Herald of Saturday. The shooting oc cured about 8.30 when Woodard, whose wife Is suing for a divorce, went to the house to get his oldest boy. Im mediately after the" shooting the po lice were notified and Woodard was taken to the office of Dr. Huff, City health physician, where his wound was dressed. The bullet merely plow ed through the scalp and did not do any serious damage. Woodard went to the home of his mother-in-law to get his oldest boy, and a quarrel started as soon as he entered the housed Frawley was up stairs when the trouble started, but he picked up a gun and came down. Woodard had been thrown out and when he opened the door to come in Frawley. pulled the gun on him, the bullet striking him in the head. Frawley ' was .taken to the police station and released on $20 bond on the charge of disturbing the peace. Just what action will be taken. In the case Is not known, as it is not be lieved that Woodard will prosecute his brother-in-law. Frawley is employed by Randelman ft Co., as driver of a coal wagon and Woodard works for the Baker City Fuel Company. Fraw ley Is a young man- about 20 years old. Take Care!
