Able to, carry the ball from their
own 15 yard line to the Spokane five
yard in six plays at the beginning
of the game with Spokane last Sat
urday, able to duplicate the trick
almost identically in the next seven
minutes of play, yet unable to fore

La Grande team is today hiftne from
Spokane and settled down to aca

With the exception of Manager Cur

players laud Spokane highly and com
mend the cleanliness of the contest
throughout.

lads an ovation that was greater than
ITTe loyal' homage they had accorded
their, own heroes.
The final score of 47 to 6 repre
sents the athletic prowess of the two
teams fairly well, but 6 points is
small valuation oa the determined,
snappy- spirit displayed by the vlsl-
