Council of the City of La Grande, has
declared the (cost of improving 4th
street, In front of Lots 5, 6 and the
north 25 feet of Lot 7 in Block 97, In
Chaplin's addition to be the sum of
$112.04 and that, the assessment roll
is in the hands of the Recorder of the
Citv for collection. All persons affect
ed by said assessments are hereby
notified, that upon making application
to the Recorder, they may take ad
vantage of the benefits of the law by
paying said assessment in five equal
annual installments, bearing Interest
at six per cent per annum, the first
instalment being due and payable
within 60 days from the publication of
this notice, after which time said as
sessment will be delinquent and the
same collected by the sale of the real
