The strang9 but fatal encroach
ments on life by sleeping-sickness is
told In a remarkable manner by a
film now, running at the Isis. Thi
picture' has been the subject for a
large number of magazine and news
paper comments. ' It shows a perfect
ly healthy rat. which Is Inrculated
with" sleeping sickness virus, and
shows the rat's gradual death and
eventually how the fly spreads the
germs. It Is a film that Is extremely
educaing. ' '
To lovers of wrestling. "The Rus
ian Lion' is the finest mat picture
ever Bhown here. The famous "Rub
Bion Lion" is seen in one of his big
matches, and the picture is thrilling.
Comedy and instruction Is wrapped up
In the other films.
