we're facing the direction from which
trains come. persisted the other. "It's
safe." "My son," said the middle
aged man. "I was a railroad eagtaeer
for 'more than twenty years, and If I
learned one thing from tbe poor chaps
I've seen picked up it was not to walk
on a railroad track when there is a
possibility of walking anywhere else.
