manager for the Baker City Commer
cial club. " Arrangements for run
ning extra trains to Baker City from
Homestead via Huntington, and from
North Powder have been completed.
Speaking of the celebration Mr. Ash

"The Baker Commercial Club is
working hard to make the big Fourth
of July celebration a great success.
There will be horse races, ball games,
open air' platform dancing free, pa
rades, speaking, horribles, music all
the time by the Baker City band,
amusements day and night for both
old and young and in fact every
thing which goes to making a grand
Fourth of July. , The flying machine
will be the special feature on the
Fourth and Fifth ana should prove
a great sight to those who haye never
witnessed the man-bird." :
