All over the country flag day was
celebrated by the Elks In a manner
that was felt. From the home of ev
ery Elks lodge flonted the stars and
stripes.- Appropriate speeches were
made and appropriate songs ' were
sung, by members of this order, and
all taught the rising generations, the
lesson of honoring the flag of the
country above everything else ,
The Elks are strictly American in
every senBe. Like the old patriots
they are for their country first, last
and all the time, and for their country
right or wrong.
