Local passenger trains between Ba
ker City and Portland have not be
come widely exploited in the two
days which has seen them in service,
for this morning's train from Baker
City carried exactly five passengers,
though there were three day coaches
on the train. When it once becomes
known that Jocal traffic will not be
carried by Nos. 7 and 8, the locals will
have more than they can carry.
