Sister of fireman Hopple crossed con

Pathetic indeed will be the arrival
hero this evening" or tomorrow " of
Miss Hopple, a sister of Fireman Ed.

yesterday morning near Mission.
Miss Hopplo left Harrlsburg, Jta.,
several days ago "to pay 'her brother
here an extended visit but the hand
of fate has made the trip a funeral
Journey Instead.- Miss Hopple -was
expected here this morning and her
arrival is anticipated on ' every train

brought in this morning from Pen-!

delegation of about 75 members of
the local Brotherhood of Locomotive
Firemen and Engineers met the body
and escorted it to the Henry & Carr
morgue. Funeral arrangements can
not be fixed until the arrival of Miss
Hopple, but it is presumed the body
wll be shipped to Harrlsburg for interment."-'

Another remarkable Incident con
nected with the affair Is that two
days ago Hopple signed an Insurance
policy in favor of the sister who was
coming to meet him. ,
; Locate Hopplc's Brother
The local Brotherhood 'received :
telegram this afternoon from W, JH.
Hopple, a brother of the dead man,
at Ely, Nevada. He ashed that the
body be shipped to Ogden where he
will meet It for the Journey to the
family home at Harrlsburg, Pa.
'Delegations of firemen met both
trains from the East last night on
account of the report that Hopple's
slater was to arrive from the East on

the report late today, as Jt was pos
