Ames, the, woman; so terribly burned a few days ago, and now a patient at the Fourth St. Sanatorium, survives,, there will be come necessary the most stupendous case of skin grafting that has been attempted in this city in many years, if not in the history of surgery here. Late yesterday afternoon Mrs. Ames regained her consciousness and all through the night was conscious of her condition. She failed to rest, however. If her condition today con tinues to Improve as it did last night hopes for her recovery can be enter tained. By tomorrow it will likely be known if she can survive. Dr. J. H.
