PUBLISH
. It has been decided at a recent meet
ing of the Junior class of the High
School to publish an annual".- It la the
custom in all colleges and in many of
the high' schols to publish yearly a
large book, well illustrated and'neatly
bound, which tells about the school,
its inhabitants and its doings. It is al
.;o the custom of the Junior class to
iiublish this work. 1 V '
The Juniors of La, Grande have de
cided to piit out the' best school an
nual that has ever been published in
Oregon. It will be a large volume, il
lustrated with many half tones and
engravings and will be a credit to La
Grande as well as the School., Of
course it will take considerable money
to successfully consumate such an en
terprise, 'but, the Juniors expect to
easily obtain what is necessary . to
accomplish their task. Indication seem
to make certain that at least a circula
tion of one thousand copies can be
secured. Besides, a copy will be sent
to every high school and college , in
Oregon and many In Idaho and Wash
ington. With the generosity of the
public a creditable publication will
thus be distributed over the North
West which could not be equalled as
a medium for advertising La Grandes
school advantages. . 1 "
The entire clas sof '11 Is already
hard at work although the annual vill
not be published for Beveral months.
The staff of the Annual Is as follows:
Editor In Chief ,:. '. i .Geo. Currey Jr.
Asst Editor ',.";'. . . . . .Mary Nelll
Asst. Editor.. .. .... .. ...Ge6. Kerr
Business Manager.. ..Roy Currey
Asst. Business Manager, Elsa Wagner.
