We are readily becoming used to the
waters' of Beaver Creek. We will appre
elate It more next summer possibly
than we do now. At this season of the
year we always had good water but
nothing to compare, however with our

Soon after the first of the year the
board of managers of the Union coun
ty fair will have a meeting for the
purpose of setting In motion certain
things relative to the fair next year.
Several months next year will be giv
en up to the making of the 1910 fair
the greatest event ever held in Union
county. Other sections of the valley
will lend a helping band. This Is not
a La Grande fair but a Union county
attraction.
