Little Cleland Sheets was severely
scalded this morning at the home of
his parents, 2614 Twelfth Street He
was close to the kitchen range where
Mrs. Fred Sheets had a boiler of hot
water preparing for the family wash
ing when the water boiled over and
about a gallon of It struck the little
toy on the head, neck and shoulders.
It Is a very severe burn but the close
attention that he is receiving Insures

A meeting of the members of the
Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen
and the Brotherhood of Locomotive
Engineers was held in the K. of P. hall
yesterday afternoon to talk over mut
ters relating to the two, orders and
the railroad company, and for the pur
pose of bettering the condition of both
concerned. The meetings will be held
from time to time as occasion may re
