lives," one senator at Salem is reput
ed to have said in the senate when the

public school library books was being

Yesterday, three large boxes were
carted to the office of Superintendent E
E. Bragg. The three boxes aggregated
about 1,000 pounds of books selected
either by the teachers of the districts
or by Superintendent Bragg himself,
f and, are, therefore, the very best for
the children of the county.
Many of the small country districts
have had but few pupils and have,
therefore received but a few books,
but U is the testimony of the teachers
